Hello from the Sustainable Cycles team!

First off, we'd like to thank you for coming out to our Reclaiming The Cycle event a few weeks back. We had a great week connecting with the community and doing some fantastic learning and sharing!

You are receiving this email because you had expressed interest in joining the Sustainable Cycles volunteer team. We're excited to have your input! Sustainable Cycles thrives on collaboration, and we make a real effort to make sure everyone's ideas are heard.

We would like to have a meeting in the first week of February so that we can chat about how you'd like to be involved. If you'd like to come out and meet everyone, please fill out the doodle poll at the following link with your availabilities so we can try to schedule a time that works for as many of us as possible:

If you have any questions about how to fill out a doodle poll, let us know and we'll be happy to help! Once we've all had a chance to fill out the poll we'll work out a meeting time and confirm with everyone.

So far from the poll it looks like Wednesday, February 5th or Thursday, February 6th in the evening are the most popular options for our introduction meeting for new volunteers.

If you haven't filled out the poll and are interested in attending this meeting, please try to fill it out within the next day or 2 so we can choose a date to confirm with everyone.

OK so it looks like we're still voting between Wednesday and Thursday night. Can we vote among us on the date we want and then I can let the new volunteers know?

Hello again everyone,

We will be holding our meeting on Wednesday, February 5th at 6pm at Queen Street Commons. It looks like this week was a tough one to schedule around people's availabilities, so this meeting will be small. Don't worry if you can't make it - we'll have another one soon! The focus of this meeting will be mostly to get to know one another and talk about what we'd each like to contribute to Sustainable Cycles.

Sorry!  I have been working and at the organic conference for the past 4 days.  I forgot to let you folks know, Wednesday is preferable for me.  I work until 6 pm in Cambridge on Thursday.

Hi everyone,

No one came to the meeting last wednesday! Oh well. We will have to plan another one.

Just so everyone knows I will be travelling for the next couple weeks and wont be able to participate, hope the energy continues to flow through us!
