canceling book fair booth?

Hey folks,

Ive been talking with Michelle about this weekend, and she can't find any of the zines at her place.

We are guessing either Jana or Sarah has them, both are out of the country....

I just wanted to confirm with the group before canceling our table. Does anyone have any objections?

I personally am a bit relieved by this. I havent actually been looking forward to this weekend. I feel really unprepared and a bit disconnected from sustainable cycles right now. So much going on, and I'm trying to keep balanced and focus on the path presenting itself to me.

if you're still into picking them up yr welcome to but i don't have the time to deliver them at this point.

Yeah, I am willing (kind of) to help with the event, but don't have time to bus all over town to pick up zines, and copy (plus I've never done zine copying). 

Honestly, I am more inclined to cancel....I don't want to commit to being there.  I was going to do it because I felt like I had to, but with this all coming up I would be happy to cancel.

sorry this is such a shit storm. i didn't realize folks were looking for zines.

was that mentioned before now?

if i was in town for the event i'd help run someone through zine copying (i think it'd be awesome if more folks were able to do this if we put on more events where copying need to be done)

and about zines: sarah has hen's copies of zines and then I'm not sure what else folks might want to have

copied but i have a lot of zines.

so, before thursday please let me know if you need zines and i can set them aside and you can let me know

if you want to pick them up.

otherwise i totally understand if you folks want to cancel. this is pretty last minute.

Thanks Jana,

Michelle and I just realized yesterday that she doesn't have the zines.  Previous to that we thought she had all the stuff at her place. 

It would be great if more of us could copy zines.  It would be awesome if we could somehow keep everything together in one spot.   

Of the zines you have, are there multiples, or do they need to be copied?

I am hoping we can come to a final decision about this before the evening.  It is getting very last minute, and I want to give the bookfair as much notice as possible.  My "vote" is to cancel, as I cannot pick up zines, and am not sure I feel pumped enough to spend a whole day at the booth.  I also know Michelle is hurting and can't take on extra stuff right now.....Michelle, Jen, what do y'all say?  Was there anyone else supporting this event?

Ok, I sent the email to withdraw. Sorry folks.  Hopefully we can meet soon and regroup. I feel like we need to talk about how we can move forward in a sustainable way.  I struggle to maintain focused with sustainable cycles because I am drawn to doing work that supports the flow of abundance and resources in my life. Can we revolutionize this organization to support its member livelihoods so that they can support it to flourish?

Hi there,

I have some zines but they're from my own stash. I wonder where they are? Has Sarah said anything?

Sarah gave them to me and fig to copy for the open tent party and we returned them so she should really have them.

I don't have multiples.

also- im still planning on going at this point for workshops etc...anyone else wanna hang out?
If sarah has "my" copies (prolly the SC oringinals) can I get them from her at all, or she outta here? where is our current centralized spot? sarahs or michelles?
I can try and do some driving of stuff when I visit to centralize it all and add the stuff I have.
