Subject: Urban Agriculture: Food Justice for All

Growing good food where we live makes good sense. "Soil from waste"... "locally grown"..."healthful food"..."employ scores of people"...these are a few of the phrases from the NY Times Magazine article about how Will Allen turned two acres of a working class Milwaukee neighborhood into an urban farm feeding 10,000 people.

Urban farming hero Will Allen is in south Seattle to share his story and inspire us to create urban farms of our own.

Wednesday, February 3 (TOMORROW!)

Mercer Middle School - 1600 Columbian Way

7-9pm

FREE

Hope to see you there,

Murph
