Tina Biggs, Campaign Lead for Friends of Bristol Suburban Railways (FOSBR) will be giving an overview of current plans for Bristol's trains. There will be plenty of time for Q & A, and a chance to understand how Bristol citizens and commuters need to be lobbying for improved services.
What contribution can Bristol's local railway network make to the city's transport problems? What's happening with the Portishead line? What difference will the planned Portway station make? Which other stations will we see opened in the next few years?

Screening of the film Food Inc. This is about the industrial production of livestock, grains and vegetables by large corporations in the USA and its effect on the environment and our health.
Tuesday 10th September
Tom Coles from Bideford-based firm Mitchell and Dickinson will talk about insulating a period home.
Where should people start? Where are the easiest wins? Is there any way of insulating walls or is that just impossible? Are there any grant sources to help?
Mike Andrews will also talk briefly about The C.H.E.E.S.E. Project.
