Public Transportation Urban Sustainability Forum: Oct. 20th

This is Andy Sharpe, the Communications Director at DVARP again. Since it's been rather quiet on the SUN listserv recently, I thought I'd break the silence with an announcement. DVARP is helping to organize the October Urban Sustainability Forum at the Academy of Natural Sciences around the sustainability of public transportation. Speakers will include the head of NYC MTA's Sustainability and Compliance, Councilman Curtis Jones (chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure subcommittee), and representatives from SEPTA and Viridity Energy (talking about energy savings on mass transit). The event is on Thursday, Oct. 20th from 6:30-8:30 PM (with a networking session starting at 6 PM). RSVP at transitphilly.eventbrite.com.
