[Sustainable UCR]

Hello All, 
For folks who just joined us WELCOME! 
We are Sustainable UCR! 

UCR's own student run environmental group that consciously advocates for a more sustainable community on campus and in Riverside/Inland Empire/CA/worldwide (we do what we can)!

So now you may be asking Sustainability is so big what do you all do with it? 

Well, we focus on five aspects of resource sustainability focusing on projects that curb water consumption, promote renewable/clean energy, food justice (organic community garden hey we have one at UCR), more efficient waste streams (recycling, composting), and sustainable culture (political advocacy, environmental justice, and educating our selves about community/worldwide issues so that we can help). We are also not limited to these aspects and if you have suggestions we are very open to new ones.

For those of you who bumped into us tabling we were promoting a social scheduled at the community garden but due to a 70% chance of rain on Wednesday 10/9 we decided to reschedule our outing! 
So Our first general meeting is coming up.. 

When? 10/14 monday 7pm - 8:30
Where? Surge 172

There will be free food and we will presenting about what we do on campus and off. Bring a friend and come learn about how we can help the planet together.
