Frogs (and birds)

Our first spawn was spotted on 14th February. About average over the years. Numbers of frogs is down on other years. There are 25 visible at the moment but in some years it’s been up towards 100.

Also our bird recording sheet for 2014 is now done and I’ve entered into the summary table of all BS3 records since 2012. We record by calendar year but others use a form from Oct-Mar. In the spring Ben B will be gathering in the sheets from the 28 of us who do this across the area and I’ll update everything and submit the 2013 and 2014 records to the Bristol Regional Environmental Records Centre (BRERC)
