A local community focused business Green Community Warmth, are about to start a pilot project in the Windmill Hill ward.
GCW require Energy Efficiency Home visitors to engage in a pilot community project.
Basic duties include capturing householder's (no obligation) 'expression of interest' for home improvements funded under the Government flagship; Energy Company Obligation scheme (ECO).
This is another opportunity to do some REAL community engagement at the sharp end. Chance to discuss with householders and gather qualitative info about what their energy efficiency needs are, how people use energy in their homes.
Training and guidance provided. Possible career path opportunities for committed enthusiastic applicants. An average level of education is required. No previous experience necessary but should be willing to learn and have a good attitude to community involvement. CRB required but can be arranged if recruited. OTE circa £20k pa.
