Dear All,

 

Please take note of the following meetings and events happening in July.

Monday, July 17, 7 pm.  Monterey Peninsula Water Management District - Board of Directors Meeting.    Several Seaside residents spoke during Public Comment at the June 19 board meeting to express concern about the under-representation of Seaside on committees.  As a result, the Board agreed to develop a new list for presentation at the July 17th meeting.  Please attend and voice your concern about adequate representation for Seaside. Thursday, July 20, 7 PM, Seaside City Council Regular Meeting.  Find the agenda packet HERE.  
Location:  City Hall, 440 Harcourt Ave., Seaside

Tuesday, July 25, 1:30 PM, The Monterey County Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Workshop On Measure Z Exemption Procedures.  This is the first meeting in which the Supervisors will consider and provide direction on a preliminary draft ordinance to establish procedures to implement the exemptions under Measure Z.  Please attend and advocate for implementation of Measure Z according to the will of the majority of voters.

Thursday, July 27, 5:30 PM, Safe Ag Safe Schools will meet to review recent successful campaigns and plan next steps. The public is invited.
Location:  Pájaro Valley Federation of Teachers office, 734 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA
