Dear All,
Please take note of the growing list of events for July and August. The big news this week was the announcement by Seaside economic development manager, Gloria Stern, that the City of Seaside, in partnership with Sustainable Seaside, was chosen as a National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Building Better Communities and American Water Charitable Foundation grant recipient. The City of Seaside is one of three cities awarded this grant in 2017. The $150K grant will fund the “Robert’s Lake Eco-Recreation” which will revitalize Robert’s Lake as a nature-based recreation area that will promote natural recreation and environmental stewardship. Sustainable Seaside will work with the City on programming and outreach. Official press release http://bit.ly/2vaSBTc.
