Dear All,
Please attend the Seaside Regular City Council Meeting tonight, Thursday, July 6, 2017, 7pm, and show your support, in particular, for two Consent Calendar items and one Business Item. Our City Council needs to know that you support these actions:
Consent item E. Approve a letter to the California Coastal Commission supporting their efforts to eliminate sand mining operations along southern Monterey Bay.
Consent item G. Adopt a statement acknowledging that climate change is real and commit the City to a course of action consistent with the U.S. Conference of Mayors Climate Protection Agreement.
Business item A. Adopt the recommended changes to the Boards, Commissions and Committees Handbook. The changes clarify the appointment process and appointment authority for Board and Commission members.
