6:05 - 6:10 Patrick Kaufman will share with us about the gardens and other food access work they are doing in Franklinton
6:15 -7:00 Shari Plimpton, food safety educator industry outreach, Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT), will discuss “Growing Food in Urban Areas Safely.”
7:10 - 7:20 Review and vote on GCGC logo
7:20 - 7:50 Action steps: Land use/security, water usage/access, getting volunteers to your garden, development of community and financial resources.
7:50 - 8:00 Announcements and updates
8:00 Distribution of approximately 30 GCGC plant starts. If you have something to give away, bring that too!
