This workshop is an opportunity to explore the gifts in conflict and community -Whatever it is you would define community as - your family, workplace, classroom, co-op, ecovillage, township etc.
Participants will have the chance to experience the practice of ‘Restorative Circles’ – an exciting community driven, connection-restoring system that has achieved amazing results around the world. We will learn the basics of both facilitating Restorative Circles and setting up the systems to support Circles in our communities.
A Restorative Circle is a community process for supporting those in conflict. The development of Restorative Circles began with the work of Dominic Barter in Rio de Janeiro in the mid-1990s and continues with a growing community both in Brazil and internationally.
