Hey guys,

Here's a few articles of general interest sent on to me from Case Smit of Noosa re the climate issue. He's the guy who organised Patrick Moore, the former head of Greenpeace to come out to Australia to talk about his take on climate change and C02 recently.
It you look at nothing else, I recommend checking out the item: Heat is on the Weather Bureau- with it's 5 minute clip of MP George Christensen (fed member for Bowen, Whitsunday's) in parliament detailing how the Australian temperature record has been systematically changed. It was hotter 100 years ago. Hotter still in the 1800s. Many figures have been altered. On average, temperatures from a 100 years ago have been lowered by around a degree to make it seem hotter now. Bizarre, and dodgy I would suggest. Decent scientists, (and the wider community) should be outraged by this!

Raises many questions...
All the best,
Jon

Hi Patrick Moore is still in the country for another few days, so I’ll continue to be preoccupied with his visit, but it’s high time I sent you some more reading matter:

·        Cracking the Big Green – discusses the huge funding and the anti-humanitarian policies of the “green” movement.

·        Cliff Ollier's photosynthesis with music – a poem by Prof. Ollier with music if you can play it.

·        Heat is on the Weather Bureau-George Christensen – a speech to Parliament on the evening following Patrick’s meeting with him.

·        Carbon Farming Initiative Bill – a speech by Sen. Bob Day, the day after Patrick’s visit to his office.

·        Fred Singer Closing in on Fact – even Fred Singer seems to be coming around to not believing that CO2 is relevant.

·        Cooling the global warming panic – a surprising editorial in the Washington Times.

·        Climate change PROVED to be nothing but a lie – John Coleman’s view of climate change discussed.

·        Various interviews – a listing of links to various Patrick Moore interviews to date.

·        Patrick Moore Goes to War – an excellent article by Tony Thomas in Quadrant

Regards,

Case

P.S. For those attending Patrick Moore’s Noosa presentation on Thursday:  afterwards, we will adjourn to the RACV for dinner and you are free to come along to meet our guest.
