NEW REWARDS
FREE PERMACULTURE DESIGN CONSULATION
We're just $5 off 50%! So in addition to the rewards listed below, we'll give away two free 2-hour permaculture design consultations (at your home), randomly selected by anyone from the Brisbane area who donates in the next 24 hours (before 5pm Oct 9th).
One hell of a way to get us over 50% - We are offering to send just two people who donate over $400 to Permafest (just 2 weekends away!):
http://permafest.net.au/
There are only two of these available, so join others who have already donated and we'll pay for you to join the regions network of permaculturalists and some of our local bands! (All bands and facilitators are contributing financially to this event)
Permafest is a collaborative fusion of Permaculture designers, food growers, musicians, healers, artists, cooks, weavers, builders and artisans – sharing skills and inspiration in a spirit of joyous celebration. We offer practical, creative workshops to empower participants with skills that support the reintegration of human culture into the cycles and rhythms of our natural environment. The Permafest Vision is to celebrate life and conscious culture in a spirit of participatory gratitude to the elements of nature and the land which we gather – to leave a positive contribution to the people, the natural environment, as well as the food, fibre and fuel producing capacity of the space that hosts us. Permafest is for you, our family / community / creatives and we look forward to bringing it together for the first time this year at Paradise One.

THE PROJECT
(see full project here):
We think a community garden and a carbon neutral school offer students an amazing possibility!
Energetic Communities want your assistance to help Corinda State High School build an outdoor classroom and create a vibrant urban community farm on the school's existing agricultural farm. We will teach students how to be self sufficient, to grow their food from seed to plate (or banana leaf)! Students will be much more engaged in practical activities and team building.
The gardens would provide students with positive skills including creativity, critical thinking, responsibility, cooperation and autonomy, as well as self-esteem and physical activity, benefitting the sustainability of our communities, cultures, and local economies. Our goal is to build an outdoor classroom, permaculture gardens, community allotments, community composting facility, and to redesign the school grounds to grow local food using permaculture, potentially making it Australia’s first school based certified organic community farm and eco-centre.

In addition to their Permaculture Design Course, NSCF offers an exciting range of smaller sustainable living workshops, often on Saturdays.
Get passionate about establishing your own nutritious food garden, using sustainable building products, saving money, developing new skills and discovering old ones. New workshops are frequently being added, so keep an eye on their offering by ‘Liking’ us on Facebook or signing up to our monthly eNews.
Apart from our regular workshop offering, we also offer the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Series of workshops. These workshops are stand-alone modules offered from the currently running Permaculture Design Certificate. If you don’t have the time (or money) to complete a full PDC, these workshops provide a wonderful opportunity to learn the skills of a permaculture designer at your own pace. You will be buddied up with a PDC student and become a part of our learning community.
Spaces fill up fast for these popular, informative and fun workshops.
Design It! - Permaculture Design Course
Donations of $3000 (Brisbane only, but happy to support others around Australia interested in other PDCs, so talk to us if you're interstate) - we will reward you with a permaculture design course
Join thousands around the world in understanding permaculture! These programs give you knowledge and skills for designing productive gardens and properties, growing your own food, applying appropriate technologies, using resources wisely, designing animal and plant systems to minimise your workload, rebuilding community values, and generally reducing your impact on our precious environment.
