Patrick Moore of Greenpeace- on 612ABC with Steve Austin today: Climate

Hey crew,

You might want to catch an interview with Steve Austin this morning (Thurs) with Patrick Moore, one of the founding members of Greenpeace and former head of Greenpeace International. They will be talking about the climate issue.

He has interesting views about C02, arguing that it is an entirely natural gas and plant food and a bit extra in the atmosphere is more likely to be a positive thing. There appear be be changes in the climate, but is it part of a natural cycle and the solar hibernation many scientists have been predicting?

C02 is now around 400ppm. It is estimated that about 3% can be attributed to human activity, that means about 12ppm. therefore 999,988ppm of the atmosphere is not C02 from human activity. Curious, eh.
