Further info on the Event:

This email is focusing on the Brisbane event, however there is also other events being held in QLD at the Scenic Rim, Kingaroy and Fraser Coast.  Please email here for additional information.

We have people coming from Emerald, Western Downs, Darling Downs and Gympie to be at the Brisbane event.  Here is a checklist to make sure you are as prepared as possible.

Create a banner
have an information stall
invite your friends and family to attend
wear or bring something blue
volunteer on the day

Create a Banner - if you are not able to bring it personally, please post it to Defend Our Water QLD, 166 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000. We will make sure our banner hanging team will erect the banner for you.

Have and Information stall - come and share what your group is doing, what coal / csg projects are planned for your region.  Show us your scrap book of newspaper clippings, your photos and maps.  If your group has any merchandise to assist with fundraising please feel free to sell your wares to promote your cause.  Please fill in this form so that we can make sure we allocate a space for you.
There will be a get active stall and also a LTGA merchandise stall, so please pop in and touch base.

Invite your friends and family to attend - this is going to fun and informative.  We'll be having speakers including those from the farming community to share how coal and csg threaten our water security, a march through Brisbane, will be creating a human sign of a water droplet (similar to what is on the flyer attached) and we will also will have musicians Dead Letter Circus, John Gordon, Alan Buchanan and Winter of Reason.  The leaflet is attached for you to share with others.

Wear or bring something blue - we would love to see a sea of blue in the human sign.  Wear a blue shirt or bring something blue to wave to the helecopter as they fly above and photograph the water droplet created by people who are defending our water.

Volunteer on the day - This event is running on the smell of clean rag.  We would love to have some additional volunteers to assist.  If you are keen to volunteer a couple of hours, please fill in this form.

If you are wanting to contribute to the event any other way, please share your ideas.

Cheers,
