Friends:

We hope you are doing well and enjoying summer! I thought I would share this with you because it connects with issues of sustainability, specifically about how the ways we garden and create home landscapes makes a bit environmental difference.

For several years, our landscape has served as a demonstration garden and networking place for those interested in gardening with native plants. After hosting 100+ for the open garden in July, we created a website and blog to help resource gardeners interested in native plants and curious about the biodiversity in our gardens. The site is now up and running! This is not a business nor non-profit… just a way to network and educate.

We invite you to visit catchflycommons.org where you will find:

  • blog posts about wildlife on the property, garden design, plants, and garden care
  • documentation on the changing landscape, info and thoughts on some of the 275+ native plants present, photo galleries of pollinators and plants, and resource lists
  • contact information for individuals or groups interested in visiting Catchfly Commons

Meanwhile, happy gardening!
