Hi all,
Thank you all for your continued involvement in the Sustainable DC Working Group process. A reminder that Meeting #7 will be next Tuesday, 3/6 at 6pm, 441 4th Street NW, Room 1114.
We are about to transition into a new phase of the planning process and would love for you to join us for our last individual working group meeting of this phase. At the meeting next Tuesday, we will add resources, agencies, and performance indicators to our top recommendations. Please find attached a draft agenda for this meeting. Ellen and I have met to discuss the notes and next steps from the subgroups. Unfortunately, we’re probably not going to be able to finish compiling everything until Monday (my only excuse is an oversight hearing tomorrow…) but we will share the assembled document before and bring copies to the meeting on Tuesday.
After Meeting 7, the Sustainable DC facilitators will work with the planning team to develop a vision plan that will capture select working group outputs and highlight Mayor Gray’s vision for sustainability in the District of Columbia. This document will be released around Earth Day 2012 and you all will be invited to this event, and to give feedback on the vision plan in the coming weeks.
Finally, we are still looking for feedback on the Sustainable DC overarching vision statement. Please voice your opinion online by clicking here.
If you have any questions, please let us know. If not, we look forward to seeing you next week!
Thanks,
Sam
