to Sustainable DC Transportation
Dear Transportation Work Group,
I wanted to share with you all an opportunity to comment on the 14th
Street Corridor Draft Environmental Impact Study. A couple of the
alternatives align with our top priorities from the sustainable DC
process, including an improved bike/ped connection in the corridor
(either via the Mason bridge or the Long bridge), improved bike/ped
routing and signing, and a management practice for automobiles that
would attempt to reduce congestion by increasing parking costs and
limiting supply within DC.
Here are the links to the contact form, all alternatives and
management practices, and the preliminary engineering for alternatives
1-3. Also, make sure to look at Management alternative 3, as that
discusses the parking issues.
