Hello Transportation Working Group.

Thank you all for your help so far. We have done quite a bit of work
to set some lofty goals and actions for the city to make a more
sustainable and environmentally responsible transportation
infrastructure in DC. At the end of our last meeting, we had voted on
our top priority recommendations but still had to evaluate our goals
and actions through a matrix. In the link to the Transportation Google
Doc., we are asking that you spend a little bit of time adding what
you think are the expected benefits, returns and overlaps of each
recommendation.

There is also a column for people to vote if you were unable to attend
the last meeting (start with 1 and add for additional votes). We are
using the honor system so please restrict yourself to 10 votes and
respect what is already in the columns. Please do not change the
“Meeting Votes” column. The recommendations column is also editable so
if you want to change language or further refine the goals and
actions, please do so but respect the original formatting which we
think makes the form clear. Let us know if you have any questions and
concerns. We are going to accept what is in the form at noon on Friday
in order to prepare for the presentation next Wednesday.

Thank you all again. Have fun evaluating the goals and actions. See
you on February 8th.

Sincerely,
Sam, Will, Ellen and John

Hi Transportation Working Group,

I just wanted to clarify one detail. We are closing the voting and
evaluation process on Friday at noon. If you have any additions you
would like to make, please make sure you do so by then in order to get
your comments included. Thanks for participating and see you next
Wednesday.

Hi Transportation Working Group,

One last reminder that voting and prioritizing the goals and actions
will close today at noon. Please check out the Google Doc. and add
your comments and priorities for making transportation more
sustainable in DC. The link to the Google Doc:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsqzSkHK4W5ydDQtNnd4NG55aDlMbjVLTF8xa1RhcHc&hl=en_US&pli=1#gid=0

Also, please join us next Wednesday, February 8th at UDC’s Performing
Arts Center for the second Sustainable DC Joint Working Group Meeting.
This will be a great opportunity to see areas of overlap with other
working groups and to identify gaps in overall goals. To attend,
please RSVP here.

Thanks,
John
