Mark your calendars, the District Department of the Environment (DDOE) is hosting an "EnergySmart DC" Public Information Meeting on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 6:00-8:00 pm at the District Architecture Center.
One action of the Sustainable DC implementation plan is for DDOE to develop a Comprehensive Energy Plan - EnergySmart DC – which will express specific short and long-term energy goals, strategies and initiatives for accomplishing those goals within the next ten years.
We want to hear from YOU!
On April 30th, at the public information meeting, we will provide an overview of the EnergySmart DC Plan including the completed District Energy Profile, hear your interests in the plan, and provide opportunities for networking. If you or your organizations have ideas to share around reliability, equity, efficiency, supply, or environment we invite you to "Step Up To The Mic" and tell us about it. Secure your 5-minute time slot by e-mailing comm...@energysmartdc.com. Slots are reserved on a first come first served basis but please reply no later than April 22nd. Remember this your opportunity to have DDOE hear from you.
To secure a table to display information about your organization, for attendees, please send an email to comm...@energysmartdc.com. There will be a limited number of tables so this is also a first come served opportunity.
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on April 30th!
