Dear Sustainable DC Energy Working Group Participant,
Thank you all for your continued involvement in the Sustainable DC Working Group process. We are about to transition into a new phase of the planning process and would love for you to join us for our last individual working group meeting of this phase. This meeting (Meeting 7) will be held on March 8, from 6:00-8:00pm in Room 1117, One Judiciary Square (441 4th Street, NW—Judiciary Square Metro). At this meeting, we will add resources, agencies, and performance indicators to our top recommendations, and make any final changes to our goals and actions that the group deems necessary. Please find attached a draft agenda for this meeting, as well as an updated chart of our Top 25 list (and beyond).
After Meeting 7, the Sustainable DC facilitators will work with the planning team to develop a plan that will capture select working group outputs and highlight Mayor Gray’s vision for sustainability in the District of Columbia. This document will be released around Earth Day 2012 and you all will be invited to this event, and asked to give feedback on the vision plan in the coming weeks.
Finally, we are still looking for feedback on the Sustainable DC overarching vision statement. Please voice your opinion online by clicking here.
If you have any questions, please let us know. If not, we look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
