IT'S WISE TO ORGANIZE

Hello Everybody (Mayor Gray, DC Council, et al) –

 

Mayor Gray’s One City Summit and Sustainable DC efforts having impressed me that there now is real potential for reorganized, reinvigorated DC government agencies -- and DC neighborhoods -- to get the right, humane things done, I propose that a network of grass root groups be formed under one of the following designations:   

 

DC Communities Linked for Environment Action Now (DC CLEAN)

 

DC Neighborhood Environment Action Team(s) (DC NEAT)

 

DC Neighborhoods (or Neighbors) United for a Healthy Environment

(DC NUHE pronounced “Newie”).
