City of Corvallis Parks is planning the Planet Palooza event for April 18th, 2026 from 1p-4p again this year.
In conjunction with this event I'm planning to have an EV show and tell.
While most people are familiar with EVs, in the current political climate we need to show that EVs are here to stay and are still a viable option.
Another piece in line with this event is showing off older EVs, or EV conversions. While the organizers of Drive Electric Earth Month push shiny and new, and working with dealers, shiny and new isn’t the most sustainable way to go. My 5 year old Chevy Bolt is great. Our 3.5 year old F150 Lightning is everything we need. Showing off older, used, converted EVs in my mind is preferred over the idea of leasing a vehicle for 2-3 years and getting another new vehicle.
If you're interested in showing your EV or helping out, please register below:
We will most likely be in the same area as last year, so we will be limited to about 20 vehicles, and hoping to share a variety of vehicles, both newer and used is good, but we won't have a lot of room for multiples of the same models.
Please reach out if you have other questions, and please feel free to forward this on to anyone else who may be interested.
