Does your commercial building STILL have fluorescent tube lighting?
Oregon banned the sale, offer, or distribution of linear
fluorescent tubes, so you can no longer legally
purchase replacements!
HOWEVER, Energy Trust of Oregon's FREE fluorescent-to-LED lighting upgrade program for eligible workplaces was extended
through 2025
(whether you rent or own the building)!
There is currently NO PLAN to continue this free program after 2025, so NOW IS THE TIME if you want to replace your lighting for free.
Your building is likely eligible if the:
- Space is 20,000 sq ft or smaller and/or has 20 or fewer employees.
- Space has existing fluorescent tube lighting (exterior/parking lot lighting often qualifies, too).
- Workplace is a Pacific Power customer.
Sustainability Coalition staff are helping Energy Trust identify eligible commercial locations in Corvallis and Philomath.
We are doing another round of site assessments together NEXT TUES 6/10 and WED 6/11 -- spaces remain for each day. This is not a sales pitch - our goal is to save energy.
INTERESTED IN FREE LEDs while you still can? Reply ASAP with your phone # and Jeanette Hardison, the Coalition's Saving Green Program Director,
will call you to schedule.
(June doesn't work? Reach out anyway and we'll add you to our next round in Sept 2025.)

How do the free LED upgrades work?
- Energy Trust lighting staff assess your space and recommend an LED upgrade that works for you.
- Your
assigned LED installer orders materials & installs your new lighting
system. They even remove your old tube lighting fixtures and lamps, at
no cost to you.
- You pay NO out-of-pocket costs unless
additional work is needed (*see below).
- Support from Energy Trust's
outreach team and qualified lighting contractors make the process easy.
A
reminder that ALL Pacific Power customers pay a monthly Public Purpose
Charge on their bills - and it is THAT fund that makes these LED
upgrades possible for free.
This is a limited time offer. Some restrictions apply, and incentives are offered on a first-come, first-served basis while funding lasts.
*Most projects are pretty straightforward; however, if your building requires additional
electrical or other work to accommodate new lighting, you may request a
quote from your installer or separately engage a contractor of your
choice to provide you with a quote. That work would need to be completed
before Energy Trust could install the free lighting project.
