Hello Friends of Sustainability!
The Thyme Garden is looking for participants in our annual Earth Day celebration at our nursery in Alsea, about 13.5 miles west of Philomath. We have been doing this event for around 25 years or more and it is so fun and special!

11am to 4pm - Sunday, April 19th.

We have between 300-500 visitors from the surrounding area.
We are looking for folks to come out and share some of their sustainability knowledge and efforts with our guests. Particularly, it would be awesome to host individuals, organizations, businesses who can share tips on green gardening, soil care, harvesting and using your garden's bounty, and so forth.Activities or things people can take with them are always successful. The audience is a mix of young families, gardeners, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Booth spaces are free!
You can use our shelter to table or bring a canopy and set up in the meadow. You are welcome to bring items for sale in addition to your educational/instructional materials.
Some highlights so far:
11:30 - Storytime with Earth-centric stories to inspire young minds
1:00 - Spring Herb Walk with Jaci Guerena from Sunnyside Herb School
3:30 - Circle of Well Being closing ceremony
Herbal refreshments will be available for purchase 11:30-2:30.
Also: Musicians will be playing throughout the day!
