Benton and Linn County residents are invited to attend a recycling presentation on May 23, 2022, 7 - 8 p.m., room 101 at Furman Hall at Oregon State University. Attendees will learn what they need to know to correctly recycle today and receive a preview of
changes coming to recycling in the future. Produced by Republic Services in partnership with Oregon State Materials Management department, the presentation will be presented both in-person and broadcast via Zoom. Those interested in attending or remotely viewing

This event will help people understand not just the ‘hows and whats’ of recycling, but also some of the ‘whys.’ Recycling has changed over the years and will change again due to new state legislation. Get a brief preview of what this new legislation will do.
This presentation will also provide a preview of the Master Recycler class that was suspended in 2021 due to COVID-19 and will return as an annual course this Fall.
