Have you ever wondered how restoration projects get all the native seed they need? Come visit the Institute for Ecology’s Northwest Native Seed Farm (just east of Corvallis) and see flowering beds of threatened and endangered species. A single cultivated bed of the endangered Willamette Daisy can produce more seed than the entire wild population. How do you grow lots of wild organisms with minimum management without turning them into garden plants?
To reserve a spot for the tour on Wednesday, May 20th at 10am or see more info, please RSVP at https://appliedeco.org/calendar/native-seed-farm-tour/.
