Results are in! Oct 23 OBRC x SOLVE Clean Up

Dear Corvallis Community Members,

We are delighted to share the results of the SOLVE x OBRC Corvallis Community Cleanup and Recycling event from Thursday, October 23, 2025. Neighborhood residents, families, and community volunteers joined us for a great morning. We set a series record by pulling in 500 pounds of litter (photo of trash hauler’s very full truck included!). Thank you to all who participated! 

 

Number of Volunteers	11 (10 adults, 1 youth)
Pounds of Litter Collected	500 pounds
Number of Redeemable Beverage Containers Donated to SOLVE	5 ($.50 donated to SOLVE)
Number of hours spent cleaning up	2

 

The Community Clean Up Series results to date: 

1.                   10 events

2.                   171 volunteers

3.                   2,506 pounds of litter, and

4.                   just 47 beverage containers (demonstrating the ongoing impact Oregon's Bottle Bill makes on reducing roadside litter that is represented by beverage containers).
