| Saturday, December 11th ~ 9am-12pm Trail Workday, Bald Hill Natural Area Do you walk, hike, jog, or bike at Bald Hill Natural Area? Join us as we help to repair and maintain trails at one of the most popular recreation areas in the City. We will be working with the City of Corvallis on erosion control, re-grading, and invasive control. Tools and gloves provided - dress warm! Meet at the Oak Creek Drive entrance to Bald Hill at 9am.

Saturday, December 18th ~ 9am-12pm Birding Field Trip, Little Willamette Join Greenbelt and Don Boucher/Lisa Millbank of the neighborhood Naturalist, for a winter birding afternoon along back waters of the Willamette. The Little Willamette property is a prime birding site, with birds ranging from Trumpeter Swans to the Virginia Rail. Don and Lisa will teach us about bird ecology and will provide a spotting scope to get a close-up view. Be sure to bring your own binoculars, extra-warm clothing and boots. Pat will be talking about bats of Oregon, and their inter-reliance on the health of native habitats, from oak woodlands to riparian forests.
