Happy 2026 Town Hall eve!
In addition to that great event tomorrow (March 12), I’d like to share that applications are open for the City of Corvallis Green Grant program. This program offers funding for community-centered projects that move the dial on climate change and promote the actions of the Corvallis Climate Action Plan.
The City will host an informational session to answer questions about both Green Grants and the Empowerment Grant Program at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. The session will take place on Zoom and will be recorded for anyone who can't attend.
Green Grants are intended for community-centered projects. The leaders of these projects can be local organizations, but they can also be a group of people with a cool idea. The typical grant amount is $500 to $1,000, and past awardees are listed on the Green Grants page linked above.
We look forward to seeing your great applications!
Brandon
Chair, City of Corvallis Climate Action Advisory Board
