Dear Members of the Sustainability Coalition,

Happy June! Tarweed Folk School is continuing its 2nd season of classes this July 20th & 21st with half day, full day, and multi-day classes taught by local educators, craftspeople, scientists, tradespeople, small business owners, and members of our Willamette Valley communities. Participants can register for classes in cooking, fiber arts, basketry, working with clay, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and more. Class costs range from $50 to $245, with full and partial tuition scholarships available to all. Some classes are filling up, so take a look and register today!

Tarweed Folk School stewards opportunities for community-based, hands-on learning to all ages. The mission of Tarweed Folk School is to tend to the land, ourselves, and each other through the sharing of practical arts and place-based knowledge in the heart of the Willamette Valley. This season of classes is in partnership with Greenbelt Land TrustCorvallis Waldorf SchoolHighland Woodshop, and Cascade Pacific Resource Conservation & Development.
