Pat will be talking about bats of Oregon, and their inter-reliance on the health of native habitats, from oak woodlands to riparian forests. We are pleased to have as our speaker Cathy Macdonald, Director of Conservation for The Nature Conservancy. Visit with friends old and new, enjoying local eats, music, and good conversation. At this event we will be announcing a major new project for Greenbelt and our community. Join us to find out more!

FILLED: Saturday, March 5th ~ 10am-1pm Archeology Tour - Willamette Bluffs Join us as we walk Willamette Bluffs, a GLT protected property at the confluence of the Willamette, Santiam, and Luckiamute Rivers. With leaders from Mary Peak Group Sierra Club (MPG) and GLT, we'll walk along an actively farmed portion of the property to the 100 foot sheer bluffs overlooking the confluence. Dave Brauner, OSU archeologist, will join us to talk about the rich history of the region, from Native American to western settler uses, and the dynamic history of the river. 10AM departure, meet at the GLT Office for carpooling and directions to the site.
