Does your commercial building STILL have fluorescent tube lighting?!

THEN WE HAVE GREAT NEWS!

Although Oregon banned the sale / offer / distribution of linear fluorescent tubes (you can no longer legally buy replacements), Energy Trust of Oregon extended their no-cost LED lighting upgrade program one more year, through 2026!  Whether you rent or own the building, your project is likely eligible for free LEDs if:
  • The space is 20,000 sq ft or smaller and/OR has 20 or fewer employees.
  • The space has existing linear fluorescent lighting
  • The workplace is a Pacific Power customer.
Get in the queue! Many exterior and parking lot fixtures qualify, too. Sustainability Coalition staff help Energy Trust identify eligible commercial locations in Corvallis and Philomath. We're doing another round of site assessments together NEXT MONTH on 10/9 and 10/10. This is not a sales pitch - the goal is simply to save you energy and money.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do the free LED upgrades work?
  • Energy Trust lighting staff assess your space and recommend an LED upgrade that works for you.
  • Your assigned LED installer orders materials, schedules with you & installs your new lighting system.
  • They even remove your old tube lighting fixtures and lamps, at no cost to you!
  • You pay NO out-of-pocket costs (unless additional work is needed... see * below).
  • You'll get support from Energy Trust's outreach team and qualified lighting contractors to make the process easy.
HOW is it free?
Every Pacific Power customer pays a small monthly Public Purpose Charge on their bills - that fund pays for the LED upgrades... so it's like getting some of your money back!

This is a limited time offer. Some restrictions apply, and incentives are offered on a first-come, first-served basis while funding lasts.

*Most projects are pretty straightforward; however, if your building requires additional electrical or other work to accommodate new lighting, you may request a quote from your installer or separately engage a contractor of your choice to provide you with a quote. That work would need to be completed before Energy Trust could install the free lighting project.
