Hello everyone,

Happy Disability Pride Month!

The Social Advocacy Network of Disabilities (SAND) is excited to celebrate Disability Pride Month throughout July, and we’d love for you to join us.

We’re kicking off the month by sharing our Disability Pride Bingo Challenge - a fun and interactive way to learn about disability history, accessibility, advocacy, and inclusion while engaging with our community. Whether you’re disabled, an ally, a family member, an educator, an employer, or simply someone who wants to learn more, there’s something on the bingo card for everyone.

This is just the beginning! Throughout July, we’ll be highlighting one square from the bingo card each day on our social media and through email. Each post will explore a different topic related to disability rights, culture, accessibility, and community, offering simple ways to learn, get involved, and help build a more inclusive world.

We’re also excited to share that our new website is now live!

We invite you to explore our website, learn more about our mission, and consider making a donation to support our work. Every contribution helps us expand disability advocacy, community education, accessibility initiatives, and inclusive events throughout our region.

Looking for another easy way to support SAND? We also participate in Oregon’s BottleDrop Blue Bag fundraising program! If you’d like to collect redeemable cans and bottles for SAND, simply reply to this email, and we’ll be happy to provide you with a Blue Bag and donation sticker.

Thank you for helping us celebrate Disability Pride Month and for supporting a community where everyone belongs.

Every Body. Every Mind. Every Ability.

Sincerely,

Cameo Ariel K. Perrells
