Following is the basic information on the Tree Planting Parties on Saturdays, November 7 & 14. Please forward this to your organization or friends who may be interested.

Tree Planting in Corvallis
Saturdays, November 7 & 14
9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Help shade Corvallis Streets, improve bird habitat, reduce our carbon and water footprints, and make Corvallis a better place to live.
Bring gloves and shovel, if you have them. Otherwise, just bring your energy.
Tree planting techniques taught at 9:00 am tree planting demonstration.
Trees will be planted along City Streets. These are trees that are approximately 5-8 feet tall and require 2-3 adults each to plant.
2-hour minimum time to insure instruction and planting.
Where to meet at 9:00 am for instruction:
Nov. 7 – Franklin Park – corner of 15th and Taylor.
Nov. 14 – Corner of 6th & Jefferson
