Beaver-Based Restoration: Anticipating Change and Designing with Beavers
Learn how beavers modify the way water moves through the landscape and what that means for our local watershed. We will explore how beaver activity influences water, habitat, and restoration, and how tools like hydraulic modeling can help us better anticipate these changes and design with natural processes. Using local examples and case studies from other restoration projects, we’ll look at how people and beavers can work together to restore streams and wetlands.
