Hello!
My name is Melissa Myers and I am an Oregon State University student. I am reaching out to you because I am trying to recruit participants for an indoor air quality study I will be helping to facilitate this spring term.
I am helping conduct this project through the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition along with Oregon State University researcher Diana Rohlman. We are currently looking to include homes within 5-10 miles of Corvallis City Center that are willing to place an electric air monitor in their home for 7 days.
How can I participate?
We are asking participants to place a small air monitor in their home for 7 days. We will come to your home to install the monitor. The installation process just involves plugging it into the wall and should only take a few minutes. The Dylos will continually collect particulate matter data during that week and you will have access to your home’s report at the end of the study.
What information will I receive as part of this project?
At the end of the project, all participants have the option of receiving their indoor air quality information. We will also include suggestions on how to make improvements so that the air you breathe is cleaner. We will also produce an overall report regarding Corvallis indoor air quality.
If you would like to participate in this study, please respond with the address you would like the monitor installed. Participation in this study is limited. This email does not guarantee that we will be able to test your indoor air quality.
If you are interested, please respond soon!
We are very excited to begin this study and thank you for your time!
Warm regards,
Melissa Myers
