Join the Maryland Department of Planning
and the Smart Growth Network at 1 p.m.,
Thursday, June 24, as Todd Litman
discusses 12 emerging transportation
modes and services that are likely to
significantly affect our lives as they
become more commonplace.
Litman will examine how these modes and
services, including bike and car
sharing, micro-transit and electric
vehicles, may affect travel activity,
costs and affordability, infrastructure
design and cost, and other elements.
