Greetings everyone,
ODOT's James Feldman is looking for volunteers to be interviewed by a video team to promote the next phase of the Corvallis-Albany multi-use path. For any TATers who use this awesome path and want to help this effort, please read this email below from James and contact him directly.
Cheers, Steve

From James:

The next phase of the Corvallis-Albany path is in the works. The project team is producing a video to promote the development of the Merloy Ave to Rainwater Lane segment and they would like to include selfie short video snippets from community members that would use the path.

Contact James Feldmann at james.f...@odot.oregon.gov for details on how to contribute by 9/26. Project webpage is here.

Prompts:

  1. What is your history with the project? Where you involved with any other path segments, such as the recently completed section between NE Pilkinton and NE Merloy Ave?
  2. What is it like trying to walk or bike between Corvallis and Albany today? What are the opportunities and constraints?
  3. What would you like to see with this project? What are you most excited about?
  4. Is there anything else you want to share with us?

Filming tips:

  1. Find a quiet space (with minimal HVAC noise, road noise etc) or outside (if all contributor videos are outside. TBD.).
  2. Make sure you are well lighted. If the sun or a light is behind you, make sure you are not backlit.
  3. Frame your head in the top third of the frame.
  4. Be conversational in your video! Have fun with it, and don't feel like you have to deliver the perfect, coherent delivery - it will be edited.
  5. Be concise. Remember, we'll probably only have time to use a few seconds here and there of your submission!
