Subject: Volunteers Still Needed for Open Streets 2025!

Hello Past Open Streets Volunteers,

We are still in need of quite a few volunteers for this year’s event, happening Sunday, June 29, from 11 am to 3 pm between Lilly Park and Willamette Park (see route map).

The success of Open Streets depends on volunteers – people like you who offer to help for a couple of hours to make the festival happen. In return, volunteers get a free t-shirt, sticker, coffee and pastries, tamales, and a voucher for Go Giddy Pops. We especially need people to serve as Intersection Superheroes to make the event fun and safe by:

  • Answering questions and handing out event maps
  • Redirecting most cars
  • Escorting (walking) local residents driving their cars to/from their homes

Visit our volunteer page to sign up for a specific location and time.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Note: This is the last email I’ll send about volunteering this year. If you’d like to be removed from my past volunteer contact list, please reach out. 😊
