Take the CAMPO Regional Transportation Survey
The
Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is updating the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and we want your input. Take the short outreach survey (link below) by August 10th
to provide feedback on current RTP goals and metrics. Survey input will be used to assess whether the current goals and metrics meet the needs of the CAMPO planning area or whether edits should be made to more accurately reflect current need.

About the RTP Update
The purpose of the Regional Transportation Plan is to identify how the Corvallis Metropolitan Area will meet the needs of the transportation system over a 20-year planning horizon. The RTP contains projects and policies to guide the development of a multi-modal
transportation system (including transit, highway, bicycle, pedestrian, and accessible transportation) which meets the region’s economic, transportation, development and sustainability goals, while remaining fiscally constrained. Development and adoption of
an RTP is required to ensure that the Corvallis Metropolitan Area remains eligible to receive federal transportation funding. Federal requirements specify that the CAMPO RTP must be updated every five years. The CAMPO RTP was last updated in March of 2017
which means this update must be completed by March 2022.
Note, the CAMPO RTP is distinct from local Transportation System Plans (TSPs) developed by cities and counties in Oregon. The RTP is designed to function in tandem with local TSPs with a focus on regional transportation issues and travel corridors.
