Those of you who expressed interest in the application submitted to the Planning Commission by Marriott (Courtyard by Marriott Parking Services) may not be aware of the outcome.

 

Please see the email and link below. The applicant has until 7/17/24 to appeal the decision, in which case it would go to City Council for a final decision.

I'm so grateful to everyone who submitted testimony, and I was impressed with the level of knowledge and solid reasoning that went into opposing this bad idea for our downtown. I guess we haven't quite crossed the finish line, but at least we've let our politicians know what we think, and what we want for our town.
