Greetings everyone,
The sustainability coalition’s Transportation Action Team (TAT) will be hosting a recurring public forum about upcoming pavement rehabilitation projects in Corvallis. The 50-minute forum will begin with Corvallis Public Works staff presenting an overview of the scope, budget, and design of the project and then followed by a moderated discussion. The discussion will provide an opportunity for city staff to get feedback from residents interested in active transportation, multi-modal street and intersection design, and the transportation system.
This inaugural forum will be focused on the “NE Circle Boulevard - Reconstruction/Resurfacing Project”. It will be conducted ONLINE ONLY as a
Zoom webinar. For those that cannot attend, the forum will be recorded and made available for public viewing. Here are the details for registering and attending:

Time: 12:00 – 12:50 PM

Corvallis Public Works staff will provide project overview materials on March 8. This will allow time for city residents to study the project prior to the forum. Questions and concerns about the project can be submitted at three different times: 1) PRIOR to the meeting, which allows city staff time to address them in their presentation; 2) DURING the forum, through the zoom Q&A; and 3) in the week AFTER the forum, so those viewing the recordings will still be able to provide informed feedback. Questions and concerns submitted during the
Zoom Q&A, but not addressed, will be organized by the TAT and submitted to Corvallis Public Works staff.
The project presented in this forum has already been scoped and budgeted by city staff and cannot be substantially modified. However, city staff are interested in understanding the questions, concerns, and multimodal experiences of residents within the project area, and this feedback could lead to improvements that fit within the project scope and budget. Depending on the issues raised in the forum, there could be a follow-up meeting to close any open questions.
This is a public forum and all residents are invited. TAT outreach will include the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition and its action teams, Vision Zero group, Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) Corvallis, Corvallis Bicycle Collective, and Mid Valley Bicycle Club. The city may promote this forum through their Public Information Office and neighborhood associations. You can also help with outreach by forwarding this invitation to anyone who may be interested.
