EV Ownership Workshop plus DeFazio

You might recall at the last meeting that Annette asked me about the possibility of a zoom event for EV education. The Emerald Valley EV Association (Eugene area) has a recorded workshop from December 2020 on YouTube that is pretty good:

The EVEVA is again offering a free introductory live workshop (based on the above presentation) on March 11 and March 16 at 7 pm for those who are curious about buying and owning an electric car. The workshop is about 75 minutes long, and covers basics such as:

• Benefits of owning an EV
• Key considerations in shopping for an EV
• Range, batteries, and charging
• Financial incentives

The same workshop is offered on both nights - just pick whichever is the most convenient. There is no cost, but you do need to register at www.revupeugene.org.

Also, the EVEVA is having a zoom event with Peter DeFazio about transportation electrification on March 8 at 5 pm. Congressman DeFazio will discuss upcoming federal initiatives to promote electric vehicle adoption and use.
