Here’s a description of what will be covered at the forum:

The City of Corvallis is planning for resurfacing portions of the following three streets: Western Blvd., 35th St, & 11th St. The project will also replace an aging 20-inch waterline located in Western Blvd and in 35th Street from West Hills Road to Washington Way.  Street resurfacing will follow installation of this waterline.  In addition to the new pavement, improvements to bicycle and pedestrian amenities will be incorporated into this project. Bicycle and pedestrian improvements include buffered bike lanes, ADA ramp reconstruction, pedestrian refuge median, pedestrian crossing advanced signing, a speed hump installation and an RRFB (Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon) installation.  Additionally, street lighting upgrades are planned at several locations within the project limits.  The project is planned to advertise for bids in late August 2024 and go to construction in 2025.

NOTE: The webinar will be recorded and made available on the Transportation Action Team webpage so those who missed the forum can watch it over the weekend and submit comments by July 1.

We hope to see you at 12 noon TODAY!
