Tap Talk: Crafting a Sense of Place with Wine Terroir

Raise a glass to terroir! Because wine from Oregon is a perfect example of how soil, climate, and other environmental conditions produce distinctive characteristics in grapes from different places. Learn about how these factors contribute to wine terroir from Dr. Elizabeth Tomasino, a Sensory Analyst and core member of the Oregon Wine Research Institute at OSU. Before the talk (5-6 pm) enjoy a Fractal IPA from Oakshire Brewing Company and participate in the Sum Fun STEM activity. Afterwards (7-8 pm) find participants with a logo sticker to learn more about 500 Women Scientists Corvallis.
