MON, MAY 9 (11 am - 8 pm)

SUM FUN EVENT AND FUNDRAISER

CONSERVATION CHALLENGES FOR DESERT WILDLIFE

Although there are many benefits to energy and transportation projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they also degrade habitat quality and imperil wildlife populations. Fortunately, there are solutions. From 6-7 pm, Dr. Christina Aiello will discuss how we can alter our actions to help desert tortoise and bighorn sheep survive and thrive in the desert. Before the presentation (5-6 pm), test your knowledge of our world with an Eco Trivia Challenge. And with each purchase of delicious food and drink, more money will be donated to 500 Women Scientists Corvallis as part of a Dine-Out Fundraiser (11 am – 8 pm).

At Common Fields (545 SW 3rd St, Corvallis) and livestreamed on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/500womenscientists_corvallis/
