HFI wants to give you a Kindle™! Announcing… a contest!

HFI is passionate about Designing for a Sustainable World, this year’s theme for World Usability Day. We want to hear from you!

Answer this question:
How can the User Experience Community support the future of sustainability?

Write an essay offering your best ideas – The top two essays will win a Kindle, the sustainable, wireless reading device.

The rules:

Topic: How can the User Experience Community support the future of sustainability?

  • Submit your ideas in an essay of 100-300 words.
  • Essays will be judged on this criteria:
    • Practicality
    • Strategic View
    • Human Centricity
    • Magnitude of Impact
  • Essays must be in English.
  • Winning essays will be posted. Essays should not contain any confidential or proprietary information.
  • Entries will be judged by Dr. Eric Schaffer, HFI’s founder & CEO and the HFI Executive Management Team: Susan Weinschenk (North & South America), Apala Chavan (Asia) and Nigel Grace (Europe & Africa
  • The decision of the judges is final.
  • HFI employees are not eligible for this contest.
  • The deadline for submission is Friday, November 6th.
